FASD Center Partners and Collaborators

The FASD Center for Excellence works closely with several Federal agencies that are involved in addressing fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). The FASD Center Steering Committee includes members from:

The CDC’s National Task Force on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Effect and the Interagency Coordinating Committee on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorders (ICCFASD, coordinated by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism [NIAAA]) are also represented on the Steering Committee.

The FASD Center also works with the Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Exit Disclaimer Graphic and the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Exit Disclaimer Graphic (NOFAS) to develop curricula for juvenile justice systems and certified addictions counselors. In addition, NOFAS has organized three summits for women in recovery and a town hall meeting in Washington, DC, on FASD, all sponsored by the FASD Center.
